Born July 1990, she is an entrepreneur from Lincoln Park, Michigan. Originally as a hobby, in 2004 at age 14[1], she started a website called whateverlife.com, designed to provide free Myspace layouts and HTML tutorials for people in her age demographic, and supported entirely by advertising revenue [2]. The website receives several times more traffic than circulations for popular teen magazines Seventeen, Teen Vogue, and CosmoGirl! combined [1]. In 2006 she turned down an offer to acquire the company for 1.5 million dollars (1,220,000 euros) and her choice of any car[3]. In September 2006 she paid cash for a $250,000 home in a fenced-off subdivision in the community of Southgate. She lives there with her mother Linda LaBreque (42), younger sister Shelby (°1999); as well as three cats, two turtles, a rottweiler, a hamster, and a fish. On September 5, 2007, she obtained legal emancipation, giving her the same legal status as an adult. The basement of the home is her office. In addition to employing her mother, she employs friends from school.
